Repayment will apply if service has not been rendered by any reason within a year. The fees paid for the service must be used within one year. The Embassy, in keeping with the spirit and letter of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, 1963 provides services to the Nepalese nationals in need. The Embassy may issue No Objection Certificate or other recommendation letter on reasonable matter upon request. Embassy can provide recommendation/proof of renounciation upon demand. Renunciation of Nepalese CitizenshipĪny Nepali national willing to renounce the citizenship of Nepal can fill in the form and submit it to the Embassy with original citizenship certificate and passport ( download citizenship renunciation form). Unlike decades ago, people can now go online and can submit an application in a few seconds. If the applicant needs Verification/Certification/Attestation/Authentication of the documents, a verification letter from the issuing authority should be provided to the Embassy along with the document. Applying for a driving licence is a very easy procedure. The Embassy can provide an unofficial translation of Nepalese driving licence, citizenship certificate, birth certificate, marriage registration certificate etc on Embassy’s letter-head.
